Run in compatibility mode for xp and mae sure it is run as admin

I don't know what the hell the problem is with AL/CM, not heard a thing from them.
as for the vista thing, right click on the shortcut on the desktop and in the menu their should be a "compatability..." link, if there is click on oit and then select winXPsp2 as the mode to run it in. If there isn't then go to the "properties..." link and then brows about on the properties for a compatability tab, you should also find the "run as" tab in here or on the right click menu. If there is nothing in either of these places then, in the general tab of the properties link click on "find target" and then when it shows the window containing the main program exe try the previous right click process on the exe file.
Sorry I can't be any more concise, but it's been a fair while since I had to suffer Vista, I think that you should be able to work it out from that though.
