Useful Information for beginners
Autopotion
There is a gold arrow shaped marker at the left hand side of your MP/HP indicator bars, Click and drag the marker to a point about halfway up the indicator bar and your character will automatically take a potion if health or mana falls below that level. Increase/decrease the position of the slider as necessary throughout the game.
PvP
You can only PvP when you character is above level 30. Once you are at this level hold don ctrl and double click the target player to attack.
Grinding Vs Questing
this is mainly an individual choice - some people hate grinding some people hate questing. Will take a quick look at the benefits of both.
Grinding - Is when a player repeated attacks mobs for the sole reason of levelling - this is most effective in dungeons or if grinding in the field, on mobs that are 4-6 levels above you. It allows you too level much faster than questing would but can be extremely tedious particularly at higher levels.
Questing - Again this can be tedious and the majority of quests aren't worth much - but there are a couple of quests (those for ref pots/res orbs/level three stones) that are definately worth doing. In order to have access to the quests that are worth doing you have to keep your quests up to date.
Most people tend to level using a mixture of questing and grinding. questing a couple of levels then grinding a couple of levels. Or by completeing the quest set for that level and then grinding for the remainder of the level.
Farming
Farming can be incredibly useful when you are running low on gold. Farming involves killing mobs a couple of levels below you in order to collect potions, gold and items to sell at the merchant or in Auction House.
Auction House
In order to have enough gold to advance through higher levels it is a good idea to master the use of the Auction House (AH).
To price items - look for the item in the AH at the item trader in any town and find out what other people are selling them for
To sell items - open your inventory and click the sell button at the bottom right hand corner, click OK on the pop-up window and then drag the item over to the sales window and set the price.
You can still play normally when selling items - just check your sales every now and then by clecking the sell button in your inventory.
splitting items
When an item in your inventory is stacked you can split them by holding down shift while dragging the item to a seperate slot.
